Mercedes hadn't been able to reply. He stared at the ground after Evan started talking to the other boy, and it was like he didn't know how to process that, let alone accept it. He turned to his nurse with a calm expression.
"I can go back now. I'm bored." He said in a slight monotonous voice, and the last bit was obviously a lie, but the nurse nodded and gave a soft smile as he scribbled down some notes about today. Merc grabbed the oxygen tank, adjusting the tubes on his nose before heading to the Mental Ward, where he lived. They decided his mental state was worse than any of his other areas of damage, so that's where he lived.
Even if he hadn't said it, his eyes said a quiet thank you as he glanced at Evan before leaving down the hall.
(Whenever we need to! And I agree with that! Revilla is walking in the halls anyways, so she'll be able to hear something like a scream)
