I feel another twinge of guilt and bend down so that I'm level with him, I try to catch his eye and say "Hey, your dad was brave, he was awesome so you could live" He had a brave dad, I could definitely understand that "I'm awesome too, I promise, c'mon lets get you to a safe hideout so that your dad's awesomness isn't in vain, yeah?"

I tap my foot restlessly the kid needed help, quickly and I didn't have the supplies. But I didn't want to have to meet up with those elite leader fanatics again. After a mental debate, I sigh and nod "Alright c'mere" I bend down and careful of his leg scoop him up. I make sure he's comfortable and then say "right, where's super leader or whoever he is."
