She put the feather on the ground, putting her head back into her pond for fish. When she was done, she just let her head air dry instead of shaking it off.

She looked back at her pond, getting a few rocks and setting it down on the ground next to her. She found something sparkling in it, pulling it out between the rocks. It was a pearl.
