Eclipse ran into the camp. He growled at the bear, and tried to keep it's attention while the other fought it. The bear quickly died, and Eclipse tried to go back into the forest. Undetected, but when you're new, and you just attacked something, and there is a high risk you're danger, it doesn't go that way at all.

The surrounding wolves glared at Eclipse. He was a possible threat.

Jaesian
Jaesian stood beside Eclipse, an said, "This wolf is no threat to us. He is a loner, but an honorable loner. I stake my life upon his honor. If he proves that he isn't honorable, then my life is forfeit."

Eclipse looked down at Jaesian. "You don't have to do that." he said. "I'm sure my loyalty would have shone through in a couple of days. But thank you, pup. You have my protection." he said, and bumped his nose on the little pup's. "I promise to protect you." he said again.

Jaesian
Jaesian looked up at the loner, and said, "Mom wants to talk to you," before nudging Eclipse back and turning to leave the crowd.

Eclipse nodded, and followed.

Kae'rien, Naelan, and Jaesian
Jaesian lead Eclipse into his parents' den, and Naelan looked at Eclipse, tears in her eyes. Then she said, "Thank you. I would have died, if it weren't for you. Thank you so much." The tears began rolling down her face, and she buried her face against Kae'rien's shoulder.
"And there's other news," Kae'rien said gently.
"Yes," Naelan said, before moving one of her paws to show her belly. It was healed, and, suckling at it, was a tiny pup, its fur long and black, sticking out in all directions. Its eyes were still closed, and it was pushing hard against Naelan's belly. "We've decided to name her Umbra, after the wolf who made it possible for me to give birth to her."

Eclipse stood transfixed at the cute and innocent pup. "Aw." he said looking at Nealan. "Thanks. May she live a long and happy life." he said, keeping his distance, as not to scare the parents, or the pup.

Umbra
The pup, Umbra, raised her head and looked in Eclipse's direction. Then she opened her eyes. They were the color of ice. She stumbled over to Eclipse, and laid against his paw, before promptly falling asleep.
(I couldn't resist, I had to make her like you, maybe crack your shell a bit more, perhaps even get you to stay.)

(Nooooooo!)

Eclipse looked at the bundle of life. "Hey there." he said, and tried to gently pick it up and put it near the real parents again. "Stay with your parents, okay? I'm going to have to leave soon. I'm..." his voice cracked. He cleared his throat. "Goodness. Stay safe, all right? I'm not really meant for this pack life. Ah, great. Excuse me."

Eclipse walked into the clearing, and then ran into the forest. He had to get away if he was going to get attached. He didn't want to get caught up in pack life. Quickly, he wiped his muzzle. It was wet, but he wasn't surprised. "Goodness." he said. "I have to leave before I get caught up in a young pups life."

Kae'rien
Rolling his eyes, Kae'rien left the den, and took off, before landing right in front of Eclipse. "Going somewhere?" Kae'rien asked, casting a meaningful look at Eclipse's broken right wing.
