The shadow monsters roar in agony, and the pack runt was hit fatally in the chest. It falls down and atleast a hundred beams of light fly up, some go to the ocean, while some return to the other islands.

One cries out, and then slams it's arm down on pyrus, trying to absorb him. As he struggles to get out, the weight gets lighter. Aoi had used adrenaline to cut off the arm with the wand. Pyrus is extremely weakened by the attack...so weak, that coleen notices her tail is starting to fade.

Coleen growled and jumped at the creature, tackling it and shoving it off Pyrus. She grabbed her ray gun, and began clawing it while shooting it in the face. Pyrus shook himself, and started shooting what little venom he had left at it, and the pack.

Pyrus was too weak to really deal damage. As he got back up he was quickly knocked back down again.

Aoi notices this, and comes to his aid. "Pyrus!"

Pyrus Shifted to human, and looked at Aoi. *im fine. Help Lilli and Coleen!*

Coleen was actually doing good on her own, taking on 2 of the shadow creatures by herself.

Aoi looked at him frustratedly. "There won't *be* a Coleen if I don't help you! Look at yourself!"

She pointed to the numerous wounds all over Pyrus.

Pyrus sighed. *i hate when the future affects the past. Ok, heal me. But be quick.*

Aoi tries to heal him, but there isn't enough energy in the staff. She gets really mad.

"UGH! Pyrus! Don't you understand!? You're literally ABOUT TO DIE!!! You can't just go back into battle! You've been acting like a complete MANIAC lately! You were too weak to do damage, and your lack of strategy killed a monster, but it just made the rest angry! It's like you've lost your mind! And you were lucky not to die! You can't just go and fight, without thinking! You're...You're literally acting like a wild animal! Your eyes went into slits, which according to a certain relative of your's is really bad, and you are just--acting crazy!!"

She calms down a little after getting it all out. "I'm sorry...I shouldn't have yelled, but...you need to think more about yourself...especially when your wounds are so bad I can hardly heal y-wait.."

*she flips through the spellbook, and looks at the shadow to healing magic description*

"Can heal anything...unless...(oof more bad words)"

She covers her mouth.

"Dangit...Shadow to light..SHADOW TO LIGHT!? WHY WOULDN'T THAT BE A SPELL IN HERE???"

She gets more panicked by the second.

Pyrus growled, grabbed Aois arm (and drawing a little blood), and said, *calm down, and tell me the problem. NOW.*

"Th-The healing magic works all the time...unless...The one the magic is used on...is infected with severe dark magic...That means..that when the shadow beast attacked you...you were infected. Only light magic can heal you, and it has to be stronger then the dark magic...but we don't have that! Coleen is almost gone! That means--that means YOU'RE almost gone!!"

Aoi begins to tear up.

"I d-don't wanna lose you Pyrus!"

Pyrus froze, and began thinking. He suddenly grinned, an idea on his mind. *you cant beat the darkness... but can you convert it?*
