Little Fox-

Upon the signal he took off running. It was hard to maintain this shape let alone keep track of the boy on his back and run all at the same time. Then the girl showed up. At first she paid him no mind but when she slapped his flank he grew angry. He knew there was no way that she could have known but it was still uncalled for! Then she stopped them. Great someone whom controlled gravity. Snorting his stamped his foot some. If he didn't get out of the bandits territory before he had to give up this shape they were all goners.

Holly Hunter

Holly relaxed dropping the strange weapon that didn't fit right in her hands anyway. " I Wan't Out of here" she confidently her posture and voice in sync with her motives she stepped forward " Where ever you and your Horse or whatever are going I want in.... besides having someone who can be of use wouldent be too bad of an idea.." she said removing the barbwire whip from her belt and tossing it next to the strange weapon she was holding earlier. " So what do you say? you take us with you and I'll let the big fella up?" she said with a smirk. she had this guy pinned either way, but the touch of the horse still bothered her and her attention was quickly drawn back to the stallion. " Handsome Fella he is, so what is he if he's not a Stallion?" she asked flicking her ears and drawing her hands closer together but not touching her fingers together.

My blood ran cold at the sight of the barbed wire whip. I took another step backwards, all of my previously acquired courage dissipating as swiftly as it had flooded in. I glanced at Little Fox, seeing his impatience, but I could not fight, not while she had... that thing.

I can't let a stranger come with us. She's too malevolent, too dangerous. I'd rather take my chances with the wasteland than someone like that.

In my nervousness, I didn't notice my camouflaging ability creep up my arm. Though when I did, it had spread to my chest, and began to crawl across my skin. Out of terror, I had accidentally activated it, and now I was vanishing in front of them both.

This is my opportunity. I should leave. Now. I'll just... let her...

I glanced again at Little Fox as my face began to fade, and the last of my legs had turned completely invisible. My knuckles were white as I gripped the handle of my scissors tightly, then glanced at the stranger, who was stood their in an almost taunting stance with her weapon.

I...

I took a step forwards. Being fully invisible now gave me a surge of confidence that I had never felt before. I doubted that I was able to keep it up for long, as I could already feel my body struggling to maintain the level of energy required to keep my power going. I went forwards again, steadily, inspecting the expression of the stranger with the barbed wire whip.

I need to work out if she can detect I am here. I doubt it... but I do not know the full extent of her powers, and I do not want to be trapped like Little Fox.

The whip she had tossed as sided seemed to have given the boy with the scissors quite the scare as she watched him disappear avoiding her questions. though his movements were not at all sly or confident " Don't bother.... I don't mean you any harm Like I said I just want to get out of here..." she said flattening her ears and relaxing a bit before exhaling and touching the tips of her fingers together releasing the gravity hold on the stallion, though Miko still circled him but had ceased growling and seemed calm. " So is that a yes or am I just going to have to stalk you guys instead?" she said seeming rather tiered and worn out. but she held out her hand to the stallion a genuine and kind smile on her face as her right eyes seemed filled with hope and joy.

Little Fox-

The boy saw his chance and took it. It's not like the man could blame him really, if it had been him he would have done the same. Though that was just him. Now though he was unable to move, trapped in a strange gravitational field. "Why don't you let me up and find out yourself." The horse said in a strained voice. He couldn't hold it anymore. With that he let the form slip from his grasp returning to his human form. The strain from the shift left him tired and feeling drained though he knew this woman would kill if given the chance. He had to keep his guard up at all times. "I don't take kindly to people slapping my a**." The boy growled from where he was laying on the ground. "And no not after that little stunt. I'm not telling you anything about where we are going."

I folded my arms. Part of my face flickered back into sight momentarily, my camouflage abilities already faltering after mere seconds of use. I frowned slightly, then, with a sigh, allowed the colour to flow back into my form.

"You don't mean us any harm?" I narrowed my eyes at the strange woman, sceptical of her words. "I do believe that you threatened us almost immediately." She was being too forceful, trying to get her own way too easily. Well then, I can play the stubborn game. "Clearly you don't need our help anyway. Judging by what you just did, I reckon you can survive perfectly fine on your own." A scowl crossed my expression. "So how about you just go elsewhere, because we certainly don't want you here." A mild sense of dread froze my limbs for a moment. I hope Little Fox plays along with this too.

The woman's companion was still acting somewhat hostile towards Little Fox. If she cannot bring down her defences while talking, then I cannot trust her. My eyes lingered on the creature's bristling form for only a moment, before my focus went back to the stranger.

"Answer me this - why are you so intent on joining us? What purpose will we fulfil in doing... whatever you plan to use us to do?" I was being a little forward, jumping to conclusions a little too quickly, but I hoped that being as unfriendly as possible would deter her.

Now that she had released the gravity trick she used she could relax completely " Sorry about that My trick only works if I touch the thing i want to manipulate, and may I say you do make a very convincing horse... sorry about the slap" she said with a kind and curious smile before sitting down cross legged her ears rotating to the many questions and comments. " The Names' Holly, Holly Hunter, and to be honest I could survive on my own no problem, but be alone isn't really a great option right now, and plus companionship is good for the health " she said with a wide toothed smile. she was being quite honest she had been alone most if not all of her life, and she truly wanted to be part of a group, but she quickly answer his question her expression more stoic this time " In all honesty I just don't want to be alone..."

seeing his master relax Miko trotted to her side and laid down resting his head in her lap. " Oh by the way this is Miko, really smart for a dog" she said rubbing his head before tuning to the boy with the white hair while her ears stayed trained on the position of the vanishing boy with the scissors even though he was visible now " So I personally think we should find shelter before the bandits make their rounds i'd rather not go over my limit today i'm already pushing it.... so you don't have to worry about me playing anymore tricks on you in case your worried" she said with a sigh it was after all the truth holding down the boy in his current state would have been a breeze but a full grow horse was really stretching it.

After hearing what she had to say, and thinking over it, I sighed. There's no point in me continuously arguing with her - she will force her way in to this whether I like it or not. But one thing is certain - I am not trusting her until she gives me a reason to.

"Fine." Her reasons seemed genuine enough, but I was still sceptical. "My name is Oliver Schwarz. As you can probably tell, I'm no-one particularly special, so don't expect much from me." I didn't extend a hand towards her as a gesture of friendship as I usually would; instead, I left my arms folded, and kept my distance.

I noticed the dog go over to Holly's side, in a somewhat more relaxed state than before. Its presence still made me tense, but as long as it did not try and attack either me or Little Fox, I was prepared to keep my mouth shut about having it come along with us.

"We were planning to head to shelter, but you interrupted us in that." I frowned slightly, then glanced at Little Fox momentarily, checking his expression. I then turned my gaze back to Holly. "Ultimately, however, it is Little Fox's decision as to whether you come with us, since it is his shelter that he has offered."

Just as I finished my sentence, a slight blur crept into the side of my vision as a dizzy feeling hit me suddenly. I kept my body language the same, hiding this as well as I could, until eventually it cleared.

We can't stay here much longer. Changing only momentarily has drained a lot from the little energy I had left. I need to rest.

Little Fox-

He really just gave up like that? Although the boy may have not left it was still apparent that he didn't wish for a fight either way. "I don't think I really have much of a choice. The rat will just follow us if we don't say yes to her offer. But take it this way girl...you step one foot out of line and you'll regret it." The man said pushing himself to his feet with a slight huff. His muscles ached and were already growing stiff. He had over worked himself yet again, and this far from home as well. With luck they may be able to make it back to the shelter.

Holly flattened her ears and swayed her tail before smiling kindly "Understood... and Thank you " She said looking at the Horse boy who had yet to give her a name. Though he seemed to be the one leading the way him and the other boy Oliver did not seem very close it was possible the had meet not long ago. " and you too Oliver Thanks" she said turning to the boy with a bright smile flicking her ears forward in a kind manner. she was aware that they had gotten off on the wrong foot and that she had caused some trouble, but she really did hope that she could finally have some friends to be around. " anything else I need to know before we get going?" she asked leaping to her feet and brushing the sandy soil from her legs and shorts Miko panting happily by her side.
