Storm
I curl up, nuzzling my nose into my side. "Looks like the sun is going down too, perfect timing." I yawn once, more, my eyes feeling heavy. "By the way, you're crazy. Everybody needs sleep, if you don't need it, at least take the excuse to be lazy." I tease before drifting off.

Lucent
I chuckle at her joke, seeing her drift to sleep. He then get's up and sneak out of the cave, trying not to wake them. He'd then look up, seeing the moon. "So, it's time you think?" The moonlight would drift toward's him, making a column of purple and dark blue light around Lucent.

Spike
I smell something, on... My lands! It is one of those pesky aicleobac!
"Raaaawwrrrr!!!" I send a blood-chilling screech into the night as I charge that direction. It is not long before I see the child, wandering like a lost cub. "You! You are on my territory, what do you think you are doing?" I snarl, scraping the ground with my foot. Although my instinct tells me to kill, my little moral says this thing cannot hurt me and is defenseless so I should listen to what it has to say.

Storm
I wake up uneasy, and then sense that Lucent has left. Worried, I wander outside and see him from afar, glowing. Curious and stunned, I crouch hidden by the snow as I watch the moon interact with the wolf. The colors beheld are gorgeous. I purr, tucking my tail around me. Lucent has grown a lot and become very strong since we were a cub and a pup.

Lucent
I would sigh, looking up toward's the moon. "If you find me worthy, i will take what you have to give." The light around him would intensify, and then would go into him. I would close my eyes, feeling a burning sensation in one of them. The light would disappear and he would shake a little, a bit dizzy. "Tomorrow... i guess i'll figure out what the moon gave me..." He'd fall and fall asleep on the snow.

Storm
I realize he has fallen asleep and grow worried, I bound over to him and sigh.
"Now he can't sleep here, there might be an avalanche or a blizzard." I shake my head and grab him by the scruff of his neck like I would Tumble. I gently drag him back into the cave, trying not to wake him. "He will be much safer in here." I mew, going back to my spot and curling up.

Iridescent
I woke to a strange shadow over me. I glanced up, and saw the strange male dragon I had seen earlier that day, during the quake. Fly with me, he said. I pulled myself to my feet, and walked slowly to the edge of the cave. I had no idea why I was going with him, but I was.
Ski
I don't know why I did it. It was a dumb move by me, probably. But I had to. I went to her cave just as the sun began to rise. I... I am an idiot. But somehow, by some miracle, she agreed to fly with me. I stepped out of her cave and pumped my wings. She flew by my side, just a bit above me... Why was I noticing that? I'd heard rumors of some species's whose faces turned pink when they were embarrassed. I suppose that if I was one of them, my face would be bright pink. Thankfully, I'm not. I'm a dragon. Wait, where did I remember that from?
Iridescent
Although it was dark out, I could see his pupils were huge, his eyes like tiny moons. He blinked at me, kind of shyly. I gently nudged his paw with mine, and I felt that it was practically all sweat. I grinned kinda sheepishly at him. He grinned back. I think he was embarrassed.
Ski
I didn't know what to do. I know she could tell that my paws were all sweaty; I couldn't help it! I sank in the sky just a bit, and tried to wash my paws off in the clouds. It didn't work. They got even more wet then. Wow. She laughed, but it was a good natured laugh. She turned in the sky and bowled straight into me! I tried to flare my wings, but it didn't work. We landed on the soft, lush grass with a little "thud". I gently rubbed my face on hers. She stopped. Had I gone too far?
Iridescent
He rubbed my face with his. I didn't know how to react. I saw that he was waiting for me to respond, so... I rubbed his face back, releasing some pheromones. I had marked him as my territory (**This is based on cats, they mark territory with scent glands by their whiskers**). He shook the grass off of his scales, and jumped at me.

Opal
The entire mountain seemed to be shaking beneath her feet. Opal was so frightened she simply froze where she stood. The rumbling sound was terrifying but she had no idea what to do or how to take shelter. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a large, stationary boulder. She got over to it as quickly as she could and pressed up against it, her entire body tense and her eyes shut tight.
Once the quake had passed, Opal looked up, still amazingly unhurt. She knew in her head she needed to try and find her way back to the cave, but her little body had been through much physical and emotional strain in a short time and she was just so tired. Surely Jasper would find her soon. With this though in mind she fell asleep.
And then...
"Raaaawwwrrr!" The loud growl caused Opal to jolt awake. The first thing she noticed was that the moon was rising and night had nearly fallen. The second thing she noticed was a very large creature standing in front of her...and it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen.
He was a deep red color, but brighter than the paints her brother made, more like a ruby she realized. The horns around his head made her think of the stalactites that were in their cave. His sheer size was something to marvel at, too. She had never seen something so large and to her yoing, innocent eyes he looked grand and majestic rather than scary.
"You're pretty!" she blurted out, flicking her tail excitedly, not even hearing what he was saying about being on his land.

Tumble
I wake up suddenly, feeling like someone needs my help. The same feeling, it never quite went away. I stand up, and go to nuzzle Storm's shoulder.
"Storm, I am going out."
"No you aren't young lady, can't a lion have a whole night's sleep for once?" Groaned Storm.
"You can stay mamma, but I feel there is someone out there calling out for help. One of my own kind..." I press on, "You must let me go." I plead, and Storm sighs. I dash from the mouth of the cave and into the snow, cold gnawing on my bones. How I long to be back in the warmth of a forest...
"Maybe I can return the signal..." I purr, concentrating on the worried one. I try to focus on calming the mind, taking deep, even breaths. I pick up the faintest sent, who knows how, and take off in that direction.
Storm
No matter how hard I try, I can't fall back to sleep. I toss and turn, but I am worrying about Tumble. I leave the cave and track her sent. Cold shivers run down my back, no! She is heading for Spike's territory, it's too dangerous.
"Tumble!" I call with fear, racing after her. I see her dashing toward one of the most dangerous cliffs on the mountain. "Tumble No!!" I cry, forgetting about her wings. She takes off over the edge, gliding elegantly in the air, not seeming to hear or smell me. I roar as I can't stop myself before falling over, knowing my time on this world is up.
*permitting myself caps lock for 1 word here... I think you'd all agree it is necessary.
"STORM! No!!!" Shrieks Tumble, but she is too far away... I hardly feel the impact as I hit the ground before darkness swallows my mind and body.
