He still stayed hidden. Now was not the time to strike.

Flower began to explore ShadowClan's territory. She spots a lizard.
"Do we have to eat that?" Rain quietly asked.
"Yes." Flower responded. "Your hungry, and we eat what we can catch."
"But I want mouse." Cinder complained.
"Hush." Flower meowed. Flower crouched, leaped and bit the lizard.

The patrol continues to mark the border. Suddenly, Frostwhisker smells something interesting. The scent, of rogue.
"Is something the matter?" Redstep asked.
"There's a rogue, and it happily walked into our territory!" Frostwhisker growled.
"There's three of them." Brindleclaw meowed.
"Brindleclaw, Blackspot, continue to mark the border. Redstep and I will follow the scent trail." Frostwhisker meowed. Frostwhisker and Redstep began following the scent trail.

The cat watching them decides to back away, not thinking it worthwhile.

Frostwhisker finds a ginger and white she-cat eating a lizard with a big fluffy orange tabby she-kit and a short-fur grey tom-kit.
"Get out of our territory, you rogue!" Frostwhisker hissed, unsheathing her claws.
The ginger and white she-cat looked up. She unsheathed her claws. "I just want my kits to eat." the she-cat growled.
"Mother." the grey kit said, shivering.
"Flower." the orange tabby kit mewed.
"Rain. Cinder. Stay back," Flower quietly said. "I'll fight them and you run away.
"No-" Rain began.
"GET OFF OUR TERRITORY!" Redstep hissed, unsheathing his claws, scratching Flower's flank.
Flower yowled, and bit Redstep's shoulder.

(I'm going to step in here and point out line twelve of the Warrior Code:
12. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.
Starvation is danger. Of course, if nobody says anything...)
The tom watches.

Blackspot comes running after hearing the fighting. He spots Flower bleeding. "Frostwhisker! She has KITS."
"How is this a kit?!" she looked at Rain. "Also, she isn't part of a Clan! She is a rogue, and she is a threat."
"This one is definitely a kit!" Blackspot looked at Cinder. "They are terrified!"
"We need Longfur to check them!" Blackspot meowed.
"Do you have bees in your brain?" Frostwhisker growled. "They will cause harm."
"She is not a rogue." Blackspot said firmly. "I've seen them before near Highstones. I assume that they live there."
"So... we should bring them back." Redstep asked.
"Ye-" Blackspot began.
"NO!" Frostwhisker hissed. "ShadowClan must stay safe!"

(If word of this ever got back to Terror...well, it's a good thing she's laid up in the medicine den right now. As it is, I'm going to go over their heads. And any rogue or loner will still know of Scourge, so...)
A small black tabby separates himself from the brush behind the ShadowClan warriors and settles himself on the ground, fixing them with his Violet gaze. His one forepaw is white, and dogs' teeth that have been sharpened are sticking from the front of his paw where his class would usually emerge.

"Fine." Blackspot meowed. "I'll bring them back myself. Redstep, you'll help too, right?"
"What about Brindleclaw?" Redstep asked.
"He finished marking the border." Blackspot answered.
Rain and Cinder looked at him. "Border? So we crossed it."
"Yes." Redstep meowed quietly at them. "Your mother will be healed. Follow me."
"Do you have bees in your brain?" Frostwhisker growled, but it was ignored.

-Camp-

"Longfur!" Blackspot meowed.

(The cat I described is in plain sight, just sitting behind them. It would not do to ignore him, considering who it is... Shadowstar )

"Longfur, are you in here?" Blackspot asked, approaching the medicine cat den.

Frostwhisker stayed behind. Are there more? she thought. She began searching, and saw Shadowstar.
"Hey... Shadowstar..." Frostwhisker meowed. "So you were watching...."
