"In the scenario, it would be either one or neither."

"Oh." Lilura says, frowning. "That doesn't seem to fair though."

He shrugged. "That's okay. I don't mind going back to a cell for who knows how long if it means you can escape."

"But..." Lilura wasn't liking this scenario. She taps her fingers on the table trying to figure out a way they would both escape.

"It's fine, really."

"Its not 'fine'. It's the exact opposite of 'fine'." Lilura says, slamming her hand down on the table in protest .

He looks at her in surprise. "What? Why not?"

Lilura stands up, but her voice never rises in anger. "I am saying it's not fair because you go back in the cell. You can't do that. You're free again, and that's the way it should be. If we're in this situation... No. Lemme try again. I will not let us get into this situation because if we are ever in this situation I will be helplessly lost and I'm sorry, I'm not letting my friend, my first friend in a while, get caught just because some rude guards decide they're better than us. So either we are going to find a way to escape together, we get caught together, or we show those guards we're not bad and... WHATEVER. Just I don't want you to leave... " Lilura sinks back into her chair, expecting Casey to tell her that wasn't the way things would work because they never did.

(Sorry it took long... I don't write this long of a thing without - curse my editor side - editing it at least three times... Even now I'm sure it's not perfect...)

Casey listened and gave Lilura a patient look. "What if we got caught together but they put us in separate cells? What if they hurt one of us to hurt the other? What then?"

Lilura sticks her tongue out. "Well they can try. I mean, they probably can but we could probably talk them into some sort of agreement I bet... who knows."

(I'm silently expecting for the guards to knock on their door or something to be honest... xd)
