Bifrst gives a happy bark and catches the stick. He brings it back and starts to naw on it.

(Bifrost works too, Bifrst is just the original Old Norse way of saying it)

I carefully stroke his back, still not wanting to scare him into leaving me. I start to hum a melody that I can't recall having heard before, but know perfectly.
