They're are some tree with low lying branches you could climb, however they don't look sturdy.

I decide its my best bet, unless im able to find something else.

I try not to shake as much fearing that it'll break the limb im currently on. I look around in my bag for anything that may help me, although I don't think I have anything defensive.

I nibble my bottom lip and sigh. I decide I should wait. I defiantly wouldn't be able to run far with this wound. Hopefully the branches hold out...
Maybe I should patch my wound.

A loud screeching sound could be heard as large, metal spikes burst out the ground and encage the Stag in an outwards circle.

It refused to go down. The stones glowed red where there were cracks
I frown, before looking for a stone or branch to throw down. Now I was curious as to how far it went. Was there some sort of magic on it?

As you investigate the well closely, you can make out that some lines make letters. B O D O L. It seems scrambled and all over the place. The well throws back your stick, it wants a different form of payment.
