He slit an eye open to see what Lilura was doing and stiffened

Lilura looks up, feeling like something or someone was watching her. "Oh, hi. You're awake." Lilura smiles at him and places the book on the table.

"Yup." He rolled out of bed, standing and stretching before wincing. "What did you find to do?"

"Reading this! It's really interesting about this main character whose best friend is a werewolf named Conner just like the Conner we know!" Lilura says

His eyes widened. "Where did you find that?!" Well, crap. The secret was out. Maybe he could still preserve the secret...

"Over there." Lilura says, gesturing to the general area. " Sorry. I won't read it if I'm not supposed to. " she pushed the book away from her.

He shook his head. He couldn't. She deserved to know the truth. "I never said anything was off-limits, so it wasn't your fault." He would say it eventually. Probably.

"Oh. Okay... Are you sure? I can always keep away from things if you want." Lilura assures, trying to see if he really meant everywhere was not off limits.

"No, it's fine, really. So, what did you learn? About the werewolf?" He asked, curious.

Lilura shrugs. "I didn't get much. I haven't read it a whole lot, so all I really got was that the werewolf is a werewolf that lives in the mountains and is named Conner and is friends with the main character."
