I use that distraction to start makeing my way towards the one with guns in that close quarters they wouldn't fire or they might just kill each other.

They dodged you again and gave out a cackle, not as hyeanaish as yours though. They swiftly lung over you and grab your neck and arm (holding the knife) with extreme force, giving you small whiplash.
