It rises up, almost like how a cobra would, and hisses again.
(Larger centipedes so actually do this! But, you won't find any American centipedes big enough to get up and hiss like this do don't worry lol)

she blinked befoe suddenly doing something crazy.
she lunged at it, right where the head connected to the body, as this ws the heads blind spot. (i think.)
then she stabbed her sword into it, hoping to hit a weak spot.

(Generally, centipedes and millipedes have little gaps between their exoskeleton! It's generally easier to see on bigger ones, because their coloring marks it, but I believe their underside is also a bit sensitive as well)
Her sword goes right through it. It lets out an awful hissing sound, angrily wriggling.
