Rose looked down. The Rooster had fallen asleep at her feet, so she gently got up and sat by the place Damen was at. She rested her head and said "You can talk to me about what happened, I promise I won't tell anyone"

Rose sat next to him, gently stroking his head by the ear. This behavior in Hyena's was proven to calm them down and males often did so to females to calm them when they were in anger or saddened. She put her paw on his and said "If you need some time before you speak more, you can have all the time you need"
Tulip choked out in between sobs "The *sob* hyena that left the cave *Sob* he's my friend, once *sob* once we went rat hunting together and *sob* and we got attacked by rats and *sob* we fought them off and now *sob* now he's been acting *sob* acting all weird and he *sob* he . . . *sob* he ignored me when I was worried about him *sob*"
Atur listened carefully, stroking her head as he still held her.

Rose went to the kitchen and got a pot of honey out. She gave it to Damen and nodded.
Tulip had sobbed herself to sleep, and a sniffle or two still escaped her throat in her dreams.
Atur carried her to the den she lived in, looking at her peaceful face. He went inside and Ahemed rather loudly, setting her down and springing out before anyone could react.

Damen took the honey and then he heard the sound. He stood up and went to see what had made the sound. He stumbled a bit

Rose looked at Tulip sleeping and called Vix and Ocu to move her over to the bed. They did so and went back to watching the coop to keep out rats.

Most of them were on nests, asleep, but a few were walking around and pecking the grass. The Rooster was walking around with his chest high, eyeing Damen and Vix and Ocu.
Tulip was sleeping calmly while Lint and Kall watched her. Rose went to sleep next to her.
Atur went into his home and sighed. She was a rare beauty, he would have to confess his feelings for her one day.

Damen went back to get the honey. After he got the honey he went back to the chicken cave.
