Kaladin kept staring at the ground as if he didn't fully trust it to not suddenly give way beneath him... Well, he wouldn't have fell even if it did, but still.

(I'm assumung Angel Island is about 7.5 miles above sea level, since that's higher than most heavier passenger planes can fly, but a lighter plane might be able to make it. I'm also assuming that, to combat the thin air, the Master Emerald also generates it's own mini-atmosphere.)

...We're at least five miles high.... Kaladin wimpered, shakily.

Knuckles closed his eyes and tilted his head upward, then to the side. "Yeah, I feel 'em... Somehow, I don't think they'll bother us. Besides, they can't lay a hand on us unless the become tangible. In which case they would be fair game." He said just above a whisper.
