The silver collar shatters into 3 large chunks. The creature screeches, then falls still, its goopy body going fully liquid. There's a faint figure underneath- some sort of skeletal figure to keep it stable, or in form, or something along those lines. It like a second exoskeleton, though obviously it's not an exoskeleton if it's internal.

the sisters brushed the slime away and pulled the organism out.

It's a humanoid figure. It's filled with the same black goo as the rest of the creature, and it's curious exoskeleton-like body is translucent. It's very light, too- it feels like the only weight is coming from the thick liquid the beast is composed of.

Lily smile and pet it.

It doesn't react. It's limp as if asleep.

She stared.

It seems to be sleeping.

Chrissy looked at Arachne. *what is this thing?*

She frowns deeply. "That's a spirit. Something's been done to it."
