Damen lets out another cry. Angel listened then she ran towards the sound of the cry

Angel stopped at the den. She pushed the rocks down and Damen jumped up growling. Angel stepped into the light. "Oh hey angel." Damen said depressed. Angel shook her head.
"You need to come back." Angel said. Damen shook his head stubborn. "Don't make me call for father!" Angel growled. Damen got rigged and he ran out of the den. Angel came out after him. "We have to go back." Angel persisted. Damen nodded. They headed back and Shadow met them halfway.

Tulip was with Shadow, sick with worry. "Why did you run off?" She asked with anxiety lacing her voice.
Atur had went back to the lake to finish the hut, vining flowers with the walls.

Damen refused to look at Tulip. Shadow looked between Tulip and his son. "You don't usually act like this Damen." Shadow said to his son. "What is wrong?" Damen shook his head as though trying to clear his head.

Tulip looked down and turned around, heading to the lake. She hoped Atur would be there, someone who always welcomed her no matter what.
Atur finished the hut and smiled. Now he just needed to wait for Tulip to get there. The large tulip grew in the middle of the hut, a glowing beacon of blue tranquility.

Damen ran to the den closing his eyes. He entered it and he opened his eyes. He looked around then he found a secluded place to be.

A tear had already run down Tulip's face when she reached Atur. She plunged into his arms as a choked sob broke from her throat.
Atur hugged Tulip close, gently petting her back. Who dared make this girl cried? He nuzzled her and swept her off of her feet, rocking back and forth around the hut with her.

Damen curled up in the place and cried. Angel came back to the den and went to Rose. "I think you should try and get Damen to talk because he won't talk to us or say anything." Angel suggested.
