Atur had found a small spot where there was still water in the lake. There was a large beautiful tulip growing, with a few small ones around it. He smiled as he took a lot of twigs and built a small crude hut around the area. It was by the ground, so even if the ice melted the hut would stand unless a tornado or hurricane hit it. He looked proudly at the building, even though it was small.

Tulip went outside, again oblivious to Damen's mood. She walked towards the lake, sitting by the shore where she and Atur had danced. She lay down, eyes closed, and breathed in the wild while remembering the dance.

Damen went to the den that he and his father as well as sister previously had lived in

The den was empty, left as if no one touched it.

Tulip sat by the lake, legs folded neatly as she rested.

Atur saw Tulip and worked more on the hut, wanting to surprise her.

Damen blocked the entrance. He sat down and he let out a strange cry.

Tulip rose, alert. The cry had reached her ears and she shuddered at the thought of it. She went inside, and so did Atur. Rose had hugged the rooster close, scared.

He then curled up crying. Angel woke up her ears up and alert. Shadow woke up as well his ears pricked up.

Lint and Kall jumped up, fully alert.

"Where is Damen?" Angel asked not looking towards anyone.

Tulip said "He went outside, but I went to the lake and didn't see him afterwards." Rose hugged the rooster close, and the chickens gathered protectively around her as if she was their one and only chick.

"Rose do you know anything about how Damen acted before he left?" Shadow asked
