"Eh, i'm good. I'm royalty- almost, anyways- in half the worlds I'm in. I like it that way." Lishian grins.

"Hell hounds? Yeah, uh, those uh, usually hang out near fire, right? We're kind of....water-based. Lishian definitely is, and I'm not the best with fire." Hanako chuckles nervously. "Sounds interesting though."

"maybe you guys just aren't meant for hell" Zoe shrugs.

"but if you ever decided to visit, we will keep the hellhounds well away!" Eli adds, giving the pair a thumbs up."and, uh, we'll also keep you from almost everything there that's flammeable....that's a lot. wow maybe Zoe was right you aren't meant to go down there"

"Seeing as I'm literally half merman in this state, definitely not." Lishian chuckles. "Hanako's the cloest we have to a hell-bound creature but she also originates from a toilet so....maybe not."

Hanako nods, picking at some leaves that got caught in her hair.

"oh you have to tell me the story of that" Eli snickers, Batting Zoes hands away as she tries to tug the leaves and twigs and other general debris that has collected in elis short hair out. "in exchange, i'll show you my favorite spell, and then we will be even" she decides, nodding to herself. Eli liked being even.

"Not much to tell. I have ties with some Japanese character and that's about it. Plus some perks." Hanako shrugged nonchalantly.

"So, what about you two? Lish's story is interesting, though."

"my bloodline was powerful before another bloodline cursed ours, then we kind of forgot we had magic for five or so generations. i'm the first to have access to the lines powers in a few hundred years" Zoe shrugs, patting her book "this is my spell book, it's been in my bloodline for hundreds of years"


"zoe is the one with the cool backstory, i just lived as a witch my whole life with my moms in Australia" Eli says, grinning "and yet, i somehow turned out the cool one, and she is the one who sits around her apartment in sweatpants"

"According to the Narrators, I killed my father, turned up on my friend's doorstep on Christmas Eve around 1 in the morning half-frozen, accidently got adopted by the officer chasing me down- I mean, I did commit crimes-, and now I just have to do stuff for the Narrators every so often!" Lishian says way too happily. "Well, unless you count this form. But I don't, since I didn't stay in that world very long."

"And he's still somewhat intact somehow." Hanako mutters

"so that makes lishian the cool one out of you two?" Eli guesses, and Zoe frowns. she can be cool too!


"i guess that makes us ocol people buddies" Eli grins, raising her hand for a highfive "we're going to have to do some really cool stuff sometime to show off just for fun" she adds, giving him an excited look.

"Don't encourage him, he's literally a wanted criminal." Hanako groaned. "And besides he literally spends all his time guarding some pearl or something in his homeworld."
"It's true! Newt chose the most boring job possible and I can't do much of anythign fun when I'm there." Lishian grumbled but highfived Eli anyways.

"that sucks" Eli frowns. Zoe's attention is drawn away from the conversation, however, and her eyes widen as they step out of the forest, and nearly right off the massive ledge it is on. she grabs Elit just in time to stop her from falling, yanking her backwards and out of harms way.
