I don't want to disturb her then, I'll rip out a page from my notebook and write a quick goodbye on it. Is there anywhere I could put it that she'd find when she wakes up? (Like a mailbow or smth?)

You began your walk to Koi colony, it's peaceful and quiet, and you pass by a few people coming in with carts and wagons.
Two hours later you find yourself facing a river. The current is strong and you risk being swept away if you try to swim, and you'd ruin your map.

Not by the looks of it. You may be able to travel down the side and find a spot where you can cross

After 10 minutes of walking you find an old but sturdy looking bridge. Looks like the map was a bit outdated.
