Sanders ushered Ben gently on forward. "Hurry kid. We don't have all night."

Gail took up the rear of the group with Kolivan.

The boy in the mask trailed after Kai like a wraith. He's the most sensible. And the least likely to attack. Besides, I can't rely on the females without them attempting to unmask me and or knock me out. He thought.

((wanna yeet them into the tower now--))

"So is there some kind of special MedBay, or...?" Kai asked as they stepped into the Zeta Tube. His blue eyes surveyed the rest of the group. A fidgeting Chris, a somewhat still shocked Ben, anrgy Lucas, bird-lady Gail and weird guy Kolivan in the back, Deanne pulling awkwardly on her skirt, our secretly-a-superhero-sarge, and then the newest additon- the unknown figure in the owl faced mask.

He felt almost faint for a few seconds, then burst into uncontrolled laughter. His eyes were watering. It wasn't just that this whole scene was funny, no. All the craziness that had happened at once seemed to finally have gotten to his head.

"What the hell?" Dee muttered.

"We broke Kai." Lucas replied monotonously, though there was some confusion there as well.

"Great." Deanne murmured, twirling one strand of dark hair around her fingers. "One more added to the crazy people group."

((nah, he's not in the system yet.))

"Yes." Sanders answered simply, guiding Ben towards the zeta tube. "But I'm not sure if it's... operational." Ben started giggling from shock, "Did you just-- Operational-- hhahhhh!"

The figure stood calmly in their midst, watching Kai with peaked interest. That's... new.

Kai was now laugh-crying, the watering of his eyes collecting into teardrops that rolled down his cheeks. Chris, beside him, awkwardly patted the boy's back, clearing his throat and trying to shoot Ben a stern look. It didn't work for him, unfortunately.

Lucas spoke up. "Okay, whatever. Let's go. Umm... Computer?"

It was quiet for a bit until; "Recognized, Green Lantern, D05. Superman, D01. Wonder Woman, D03. Aquaman, D06. Sergeant Thomas Sanders, Omega-1A. The Flash, D07. Martian Man Hunter, D04. Hawkwoman, E01. Location?"

"The Watchtower." Sanders said as cryptically as he could, still not entirely trusting the injured possible vigilante in their midst. Ben was wheezing from shock at this point, limply hanging onto Kolivan's arm.

Soon enough they had appeared in the glinting metal interior of the WatchTower. Kai had now calmed down somewhat, and he only giggled a little as they walked.

Lucas snorted at the boy's frenzied state, then decided that he probably wasn't the best to talk to the boy. Dee and Chris shook their heads 'no' after he mouthed the words 'Who's helping owl kid?' He rolled his eyes and looked at the rest of the team.

'Owl-kid' was now at the rear of the group, having slowed down his pace. Ben had somewhat calmed down and had left Sanders to go and bother Kolivan with his presence. Gail nudged Owl-kid along without touching him, all she had to do to get him to walk faster was speed up her own gait, as the figure didn't want to be run over by a big bird woman with a mace.

"Where are you going to put him?" Chris asked Gail as she walked. "I think the open room is down the hall that way, we haven't been able to check where we're staying yet."

"The Med-bay for now, from what I've gathered they usually have like a cot or something. Besides, Batman's successor could arrive at any minuet." Gail said. "So many things could go wrong when they do and find a creepy owl-kid in their room."

"Speaking of, why won't he take his mask off? Or talk?" Chris asked, an eyebrow quirked in a bemused expression. "Hmmm..... maybe he's deaf? Or like, what's the word... mute?" He speculated, walking off into the hallway with the rooms to leave the rest to deal with Owl Kid.
