Aoi, looking confused, followed. Lilli decided to come to.

Coleen was running through the room, checking the map and her phone and pacing. Pyrus ran in and asked, *whats wrong?*

Aoi and Lilli ran in soon and entered.

Aoi tilted her head "What's wrong, Col?"

Coleen pulled up something on her phone, and slapped it down so everybody could see it.

It was the creature from before. She said carefully, *the thing we killed. According to reaserch, where one is, theres plenty. Which means we have a problem, becuase if one is killed, the whole pack is gonna try to kill the killer.*

Aoi opened her mouth to speak, but was halted by 6 rumbles.

"(very bad word here :>)"

They also heard the faint clanking of glass.

Lilli spoke, "That sounded like the orbs in deadman forest! There must be more residence that died!"

Aoi shouted "Wait! I have an idea then! If the destruction of the orbs is what killed them, maybe we just have to get to the center of the forest and destroy the new ones! Actually, wait a moment.."

She flipped through the spellbook and pointed to some words.

"There is a pack alpha which remains on top, and devours the most creatures. It comes out by itself, and is usually near the size of the land it inhabits. If it is killed, then the rest of it's pack, usually around 5 or 7, will emerge to attempt to get revenge. However, they are much smaller. That means, that the one we fought before was alpha. And these ones could be easier to deal with up front. What do you think, guys?"

Pyrus and Coleen locked eyes and Shifted, Pyrus into a Dilophosaurus, and Coleen the Indoraptor. Coleen dropped on all fours and growled, *lets go.* Pyrus just walked through the door, partially breaking it due to his new size. His eyes went to slits, and his claws closed, breaking the floor. A low rumbling escaped his stomach, and his frills slowly extended, making him look really scary. Saliva dropped down his jaws, and - you get the idea. He just went... primal. Wild.

Terrifying.

Coleen shuddered. *i think that his Rapid Evolution is going a little... De-evolution. Hes acting like a real dinosaur. Thats pretty rare, and it doesnt always work out for the Shifted, and the watching. Dont make him mad. Actually, dont talk to him.* then she ran after him, breaking the door further. *sorry!*

Lilli sighed. "Don't worry you two. Now, Aoi, Let's go. This seems easy enough...And I'll let you borrow my staff since you don't have powers."

Lilli gave Aoi her staff to help slowly absorb and weaken the shadow beasts, well Lilli decided her own plan. She found some healthy black vines, and used her ability to control plants to make them follow her to the battle, as well as dark magic to keep them growing do to their composure of shadows. The team of four ran out. They soon found their selves at the coast, after Yanjun warped them around a little. Emerging from the ocean, were the enraged shadow pack. They created waves, which almost swept away Oceanside village. Aoi picked up a megaphone to warn the townsfolk to get out, as Yanjun teleported some to skyview town.

They got ready to fight. This would be a tough battle.

Coleen looked worried, looking around and hissing. Pyrus seemed barely in control, snapping and salivating.

The group of monsters sniffed, looked at lilli, and let out distorted creepy roars.

Lilli muttered. "It knows I'm the one that killed their leader. Now, I remember based on the story...We can't jump onto them. Or else they'll absorb you."

Aoi looks at them. "Got it." She leaps up, and flies using her two small wings, she circles the monsters, and two stared at her, and started to dizzy. She used this oppurtunity to take an orb from a bag that she carried along and put it on the staff. The orb started to absorb a monster. By the time the orb is used up, the monster's forearm is gone. It roars, before using it's other arm to grab Aoi. Lilli screams out a spell that turns the orb's shadow magic into light energy. Aoi takes it off, and throws it at the monster's face. It explodes, and the monster is blinded. It lets go of Aoi and covers it's eyes. The staff starts to generate a new orb. She flies to a safer distance. Lilli whistles, and an army of black vines come to her aid. They all start to grow towards each other, and form a massive quadruped creature shape. It uproots the vines of one leg, and slams at a shadow beast to weaken it. The roots quickly re-attach to the vine beast. At this point, the air is filled with the light beings that will soon return to their original form.

Pyrus opened his jaws and Coleen grabbed a ray gun, and they both opened fire on the creatures. Coleen roared, *die, Shadow monsters, DIE!*
