Gabriel hopped off Claw panting...Claw came and licked him ....he looked around at the woods near his clearing

"The capital" Piper said in a 'duh' tone.

She drew in a sharp breath and stalked into the clearing. "What's happening here?" She asked, placing her hands on her hips and trying to sound as superior as possible. It wasn't working.

"Yeah, right of course. But where in the capital? It is kind of a big place...?"

Jasper shook his head, he heard something and looked down to see an arrow, target practice or hunting arrow didn't matter to him, he plucked it out and pulled his dangling feet up to avoid getting penetrated by another one. He peered down, spotting a boy much older than him and looking exactly like the images that flashed in his mind when he thought of hunters, so he climbed up higher to avoid his line of sight.
