Sparrowpaw attempted to copy, although it was going poorly and he uncovered the roots a little too much and his head came up as he'd got dirt in his mouth, he spat it out to the side uncomfortably.

Thornheart sent a thousand degree glare in Sparrowpaw's direction and had a huge urge to break the fourth wall.

(Sparrowpaw is still a Warriors apprentice. he hasn't done this before and he's.. clumsy. he has long limbs.. he's that one kid who's tall and trips up over his own feet all the time)

Thornheart continued to glare at him as she herself gently pulled out two more stalks of alfalfa. "Get it right or don't come next time." She muttered.

"I'm sorry, Thornheart." he winced, "I'll try my best. i promise." he got his one out and started at a second, unhappy to find it was small.

Thornheart huffed and padded over. "Ignore me." She hutched over, gently digging around the roots so Sparrowpaw could get a better grip. "I'm sorry... I guess." She mumbled so softly Sparrowpaw probably wouldn't hear.

Sparrowpaw heard the medicine cat mumble something inaudible, but didn't think much of it. His ear flicked as he moved over for her, mewing a thanks, his tail straight up as he continued as she'd made it easier for him.

(I get bullied and people get angry at me too; it's normal)

Thornheart straightened and shook her head, dirt from her fur flying everywhere. "There we go. Be careful this time!" She warned before heading back to her own patch.

He nodded determinedly and pulled it out, laying it down neatly beside the other one before digging around the last one in his patch.

Thornheart finished with her patch and watched Sparrowpaw out of the corner of her eye.
