(I guess? If he didn't have one before)

"Maybe we can get a little bit of everything in today..." Silverfeather wondered, looking to the sky. "We should probably start heading out now if we want to have time for everything" She suggested, starting to walk out of camp.

Sparrowpaw trotted happily after her, keeping his paws up in a weird high-trot he liked doing. his lightish brown pelt puffed out as she darted towards a leaf, pouncing on it and doing a front roll, his haunches up as he finished facing Silverfeather, the tattered leaf in his jaws.

Silverfeather gave an amused huff at the young apprentice. "Very good, but next time you pounce try to keep your legs not so spread out, it'll give the opponent a chance to attack your underbelly, let's try again, but this time I want you to try it on me, so you'll know what it feels like attacking an actual cat, just remember: no claws or real biting" she told him, pacing in slow circles around him

He dropped the leaf, eyes burning with concentration and without warning sprang at Silverfeather, keeping low before straightening up once close enough to lash out with his paws.

Silverfeather decided to let the attack hit her, but ducked lower to the ground to give him an example as to what sort of defensive position to take in this situation. She seemed to be making herself smaller, preparing her counter attack.

Sparrowpaw leapt backwards, trying to pick up on what had been said in a past taining session and bouncing to the side, digging his hind legs in hard and keeping eye contact and lunging forwards again, aiming and the deputy's shoulder.

Silverfeather let the apprentice king to her shoulder, then shifted her weight with the impact, throwing the apprentice onto the ground behind her. She wasted no time pinning the apprentice beneath her. "Your leap was very good, thought we should probably work on your counters now" she told him

Sparrowpaw stayed still before kicking up with his hind legs feebily and twisting his neck forward, nipping her front leg.

"Sparrowpaw, don't flail around like that, you might hurt yourself, a good strategy here would either be to play dead or a kick to the stomach" She instructed him

He didn't reply but hesitated. He doubted experienced warrior would fall for playing dead and he didn't understand why biting the neck or paw wasn't a good tactic, he had a long neck and could do so. His limbs were quite long but weak, he wasn't sure if he had enough brute force to kick any full grown warrior off. In the end, he decided to mock run his hind legs along her stomach, where if he had been using claws it would have cut in deeply.
