As you take some water, you hear a sound from the other side of the river. The current is strong, but is for some reason becoming calmer. Do you cross the river now, wait for the current to lessen, look for another place to cross, or travel along the riverside?

You push through the thick black plants lining the ground beneath the trees, and suddenly you notice that the trees are thinning and a tall mountain looms in front of you. What do you do?

You try to turn and get a good look at the vent, but the vine-like things are still holding you. Meanwhile, the pressure in the vent is growing and bits of steam are pushed out. You feel slightly disoriented as the steam passes by you. Could it be toxic? What do you do?

You decide to head south. As you near the edge of the chasm, a large cloud of the steam escapes and blasts upwards ahead of you. You see two paths down. One path is steep, and passes near the steam vents, but the other is long and winding, though safer. Which path do you take?

You decide to travel to the woods. As you walk into the trees, you hear a high-pitched whine coming from farther inwards. It is hard to hear and hurts your ears. Do you track it?

It grows louder as you head deeper into the trees, until suddenly it stops. You are at a path split, where there are two ways to go. west, towards water, where a thick fog blocks much of your view, and east, a path which seems to become less wooded and more open farther on. Which path do you take?
