I lift my head, moaning softly. I pull myself to my paws and step out of the bush I was sleeping in. I look down at my thick black fur, my emerald eyes gleaming softly in the moonlight.
"Not again" I growl "How come this keeps happening? I go to bed, and wake up in the middle of the night as a wolf"
With a huff I begin to wander, my thick black fur and my large form blending in with the night.

I feel slightly lonely as I wander through the woods, but mostly I feel..... alive. More awake and alert than I have felt in a very long time. I begin to lope along at a quick pace, enjoying the wind in my fur as I dart between the trees. Maybe being a wolf isn't so bad after all, I am free.

Finally to tired to run any more I curl up in a bush an sleep.

Damon stretches out of the couch, still asleep. he was tired after his fighting and his wounds couldn't heal properly if he was deprived of sleep.

Calamity ran up to the mansion's doorstep. Who would've thought she would find a secluded home while wandering through the forest? Perhaps whoever was there had a fireplace, or even food. She reached out and rang the doorbell without hesitation. Even if they tried to kill her, she was immortal. And had fire.

Damon sighed. He walked to the door. He had been re-doing his bandages and had taken his shirt off the reach the one on his side. He opened the door to find a girl standing there. He blink twice and then invited her in. "Uh, Hi?" he said scrambling around to find his shirt. He didn't feel comfortable with out it on when people were around.

Callie stepped in, glancing at his bandages and wondering how he got his injuries. "Uh, hi." She took her shoes off in an awkward silence. Tugging her coat tightly around her ears, she decided to make small talk with the stranger. "Interesting location for a house."

He just nodded as he pulled his tee on. "Are you hungry? Cold?" he asked a bit awkwardly. He tossed the bandage roll to the side and sat down staring at her.

"Hungry, and very cold." She replied, a little less awkwardly. It didn't look like he was about to kill her, at least. "Do you have a fireplace?"

He pointed to a old fashioned brick fireplace at the corner of the room. "Do you want a bagel? Or an apple?" he asked, staring at her coat in curiousity.
