Oliver Schwarz

"Little Fox... Hmm..." He didn't appear to be lying, his response spoken with confidence and his body language suggesting nothing out of the ordinary. "My name is Oliver Schwarz. I have the ability to camouflage. At least... If I wasn't in such a weakened state." I raised my hand, reluctant to showcase my weakness, but I had to show my trust.

The vanishing effect started at my fingertips, before crawling down my arm, then pausing at the elbow. I shook my arm slightly, but it would not extend further. I could feel the limb going numb, so I allowed colour to flood back into my skin.

"It's not much. It's not even useful." I stretched my fingers, trying to bring back the feeling in them. I then ran them through my hair, coughing slightly. "I need time to recover, but I just haven't been able to. Not with those bandits trying to track me down." I didn't say any more - I didn't want to tell Little Fox what I had done. Certainly not after only a short amount of time knowing him.

Little Fox-

"Then we shouldn't stay here. I knew of a place where you can rest safely though it's a bit of a walk from here. " the man offered as he walked towards the door. There was a shelter not too far though fora human it was a half a day walk. Normally the man would just take to a wing as a bird and fly back but for the sack of a...fellow survivor he was willing to share the wealth even through the hardships.

Little Fox's offer was tempting. I folded my arms, considering what he was saying.

I suppose it is better than nothing. Even if he decides to try and trick me... I don't wish to doubt his friendship, but I cannot be certain.

"If you think that I would not be a liability... I would appreciate the help." I tilted my head downwards, my gaze directed at the floor. "I do not have any supplies to share in return, however. I had everything taken from me before you came." A sudden realisation flooded into my mind. I could see the rest of the bandits approaching in the distance, and I turned to face Little Fox. "We should move. They may have noticed that the woman didn't leave the building." I took one last glance at the dead body, before nervously adjusting my the satchels on my belt.

The girl with the kitty gave Sarah an idea to do for the candy store.

When the girl left after ten minutes, Sarah rose and said to her toys, "Alright everyone! We're going to have a cleaning party!! Toys that can fly, you work on getting rid of all of the filth on the ceiling. That means dust, cobwebs, and ceiling stains. Toy soldiers, you work on fixing and polishing the furniture. Dolls will clean the floor and remove all of the litter and trash. Stuffies will bring back the colors to the walls. Big Bear and Father Panda will help me wash and clean the windows."
The toys got to work and a large teddy bear and a stuffed panda joined Sarah in restring the windows to their former glory.

When everyone had finished, the store was both perfect and spotless inside and outside. It looked even better than new!

Little Fox-

"Right." The man said peeking from the shelter. The group was standing just a bit away, but no seemed concerned that the woman had yet to return. "Go, go, go!" Little Fox demanded making a break from the trees. Once to safety he turned to check if the boy had followed him.

At Little Fox's shout, I too began to run. But I struggled to keep up with him, stumbling over rocks and another paraphernalia strewn on the ground. More than once, I glanced over my shoulder, hoping that my frenzy of an escape attempt was not attracting too much attention.

They don't appear to have noticed. That's a relief.

It took some time for me to reach where Little Fox had stopped. I exhaled slowly, trying to hide the fact that that short burst of speed had taken a lot out of me. My gaze went to the group of bandits, who were now making their way into the shelter. There seemed to be a little panic about them, suggesting that they had found the body already.

I turned my head to look at Little Fox, waiting for what he was going to say next.

Little Fox-

They didn't have much time...in order to get the boy away safely he would have to carry him. On his own he wasn't capable though if he put a bit more thought into an amimal he might just be able to pick the boy up. "I have an idea." Fox said widening his stance some as he morphed into a horse. This one was different from the last, as it seemed to be more souls than the dog had. "Get on we don't have much time."

I watched as a tangle of blue enveloped Little Fox's body. In the blink of an eye, before me stood a horse, similarly structured to the form that he had taken on when we had first met. I was not keen on the idea of feeling that freezing sensation once more, but I did not have much of a choice.

I nodded in response, and went to his side. I struggled to mount, but eventually, I managed to get myself into a sitting position on his back. The cold that I had felt shot through my body, almost entirely paralysing me at first, but soon I began to relax. Although shivers still wracked my body, I was slowly adapting to the feeling of the strange mist-like essence that was radiating from Little Fox.

Unable to speak, I gestured to signal that I was ready to go. I took another look over at the shelter, concerned that the bandits may have begun their search, but it seemed that the building was unusually still. It made me nervous just to remind myself that they could come from anywhere at any moment. I rested my shaking hands in front of me, averting my gaze from the scene.

Holly Hunter

It had been about a week since Holly and Miko had spotted any other signs of life, but already today felt different her and Miko could smell the scent of others. " Hey Miko, wanna go for a run?" Holly asked looking at the small path of woods in front of them inside she could smell a few beings one unresponsive and possibly dead and a fer more huddled in one area they smelled like blood probably bandits of hunters... and two more on the other side, one smelled like animal.. but the Bandits were easy prey until they reach the next city. With a snap of her fingers Holly and Miko bolted into the woods. Once at the bandits camp Holly was able to touch each of the men without a scratch before standing in the center of their small shelter. " nice meeting you boys" she said with a smirk pressing her fingertips together gently increasing the gravity on their bodies dramatically. they each let out a painful sounding scream before releasing their last breath. Holly and Miko quickly gathered the supplies they needed and took off out of the forest as quickly as they had entered.

After running a short distance Holly froze for a moment seeing a man riding a horse. but it was only long enough for her to decide she wasn't letting this chance slip by, horses were something special. She cupped her hands around her mouth and let out a very convincing Howl to which Miko joined in. and touching her shoes with her finger tips she and her companion took off after the large beast and its rider keeping a un-human pace caused by her releasing most of the gravity from her shoes, and soon they had closed most of the distance between them. " Hey! Nice Horse! " she said cunningly as she ran up beside them slapping her hand on the horses flank. It felt strange, but non the less she stopped and touched her fingertips together increasing the gravity just enough to halt the horse and hold it down in one spot, making it beyond difficult to stand, and even more difficult to walk. Miko circled the two growling in a low tone as Holly mad he way two them pulling on of the Raiders weapons from her bag. She seemed extremely distracted as she tried to focus on the boy with the scissors her tail twitching and her ears flicking and rotating as to check the area. " You don't seem to dangerous, mind telling me how you got your hands on a horse?" she asked curiously finally flatting her ears and calming her tail down to a slow sway.

I could feel the tension in Little Fox's body as the woman came over. I don't know what she did to him, but she's dangerous. Everything about her posture suggested that this question was not asked out of curiosity.

Noticing that Little Fox was struggling to support even his own weight, I dismounted to ease the stress on his legs, then drew my scissors from my belt. I backed away from the stranger, nervous of her pet, which was growling menacingly at me.

"He's not a horse," I answered sharply. I wouldn't tell her any more than that. I nervously adjusted the position of my weapon in my hand, watching her expression closely. "Back off!" My voice wavered only slightly as I shouted. I bit my lip, doubting that I was threatening in any way.

I have to defend Little Fox while he can't move. He's offered me such kindness, I shouldn't just abandon him.

With shaking hands, I pointed the blade of my scissors at the woman's face.

"Tell me, what do you want?"
