Atur looked him in the eye, said "That answer will have to wait for a different time" and slipped into the woods.

Tulip had went outside on a happier mood than she had come in with. She held a small decorated box with swirls on it. Heading towards the lake, she danced around and hummed something.

Damen growled but headed back inside

Rose was playing with the Rooster, who seemed to enjoy her company.

Atur waited by the lake, ears perked up and a smile on his face.

Damen sat down and then continued to growl silently

Rose gave him a peculiar look. "What's wrong?" She asked as she stood up, resulting in a sad bawk from the Rooster.

Tulip saw Atur and smiled, box in her paws. She ran towards him, filled with joy.

Atur sprang up when he saw her. He ran towards her also, smiling from ear to ear. Gosh this girl is cute! He couldn't believe that someone as perfect as her could exist.

Tulip pressed her nose against his and held out the box, blushing.

Atur smiled and took the box. Inside was a geode, a natural beauty. Nothing compared to the girl in front of me, though, Atur thought as he gently picked it up.

Tulip smiled as he picked up her present. She had found it in the cave, when she cleared the chicken coop.

"Nothing." Damen said and turned away

Rose's ear twitched, but she sat down and continued to cause happy bawks from the Rooster.

Atur and Tulip exchanged a hug and then a nose nuzzle before they had to leave.

Tulip sprung into the cave light as a feather as she skipped around, cheeks a rosy pink.'

Atur sighed pleasantly as he watched the wolf, Tulip, skip away. She caused his heart to soar, just the sight of her. He danced into the woods and curled in his den, a burrow into the roots of a large tree.

Damen looked at Tulip then he looked away

Tulip seemed to be completely in the fog of Damen's mood as she sat down on the bed with a sigh and sparkling eyes. They had danced after Atur thanked her for the geode, eyes like twinkling stars. He was so cute and polite, kissing her paw after they danced. Her eyes closed as she sighed again and dreamed of dancing with him again.

Atur's den was large, a burrow that had been dug out by rabbits and abandoned when bears came. He thought of Tulip, her perfect shape and voice. She was an angel sent down from Heaven, a pure soul.

Damen looked at Tulip and he stormed out of the den. He shook his head not know what he was feeling or why he was feeling that way
