"Thanks for making me feel at home," Kaladin sarcastically replied to Caspian's remark. He glanced at Douglas. "I think I can assist medically. Never have been great in the kitchen."

"Sorry Kaladin just saying those two jobs are harder than climbing a mast in a hurricane." Caspian walked out.
"Oh joy another one." Douglas muttered sarcasticly.

Kaladin sighed. "You're not exactly a ray of sunshine, either." He told Douglas. "Well, I'm awaiting orders,"

"Yeah." Sterling nodded stepping back,he was coated in a think layer of hot sweat

"I'm open to suggestions," Collin said, swinging outward, putting a lot of force behind the blow.

"Check Selkie's pulse while I check Taika's." Douglas told him remmebering his last helper. "What possesed me to ask for another one?"

Kaladin gently touched Selkie's neck, just below his jaw and beside a tendon. The echidna exhaled softly, as if checking the otter's pulse somehow relieved him of some sort of burden.

Selkie shook slightly at Kaladin's touch.
"Well?'' Douglas looked at Kaladin.

"It's not as strong as I would expect, but its there and steady," Kaladin reported.

"Good. There is a chest in the Captain's room go there and open the chest. Bring me the box in the chest." Douglas ordered him. "The box should be made of wood."
