I make a snarling noise and say "Theres some creature over there when I yelled it ran but chances are it's still close. That's probably why I felt uneasy." I look around wildly, picking up Dove and holding her close.

It falls down to its knees, gasping for air. Long slashes line its throat and face. The pipe, still lodged in its head, oozed the green stuff. A rancid smell, like that of dying animals and decaying bodies filled the room. It was toxic.
