"Your father is recovering. As, um, spririted as ever, but I think he's eager to be on his feet again. As for Douglas..." Kaladin grimmaced. "He had a very bad fever... I'm not sure what it is, exactly, but Skipper suggested that it may be a disease caught from Angel Island. For now I'm just letting some medicine soothe that."
