It slipped into the sound softly and soon played the swaying calming noises. Birds,the water and soft wind. Shade watched the flowers for a moment,the petals of the normal ones closing a bit as the ones of the moon like flowers swayed and opened a bit more.

She flinched a bit as she heard the water, quickly turning it off then shifting into a small cat, and curling up into a ball.

The moon petals closed more and the tulips opened again. Shade came over and,surprisingly knelt besides her and stroked her gently. His voice had suddenly taken on a tone so much softer than his usual tone. "Water bothers you,child. Doesn't it."

She nodded slowly, looking up at him with soft eyes.

"Ah...a fear the dear furry inside used to have as well." He said with a faint smile,sitting besides her. "He used to fear the sink,the hose,anything wet. He hated it. I used to feel the fear shutter through his body,and it used to cloud his mind to where I couldn't even talk to him. It was scary. Until his sister came,and he learned soon that she,too,didn't like the water after a while. So soon he got over the fear,pushing past it to help his sister and now the only thing that little one fears is potatoes...and losing her brother." He said,red eyes thoughtful.

" I'm scared of it...because...someone tried to drown me. " she said quietly.

He nodded,seeming to dig his claws into the earth for a moment,ripping at the grass. "Your not alone in that...." He said softly,something like memories of his own washing over his eyes.

She looked down at the ground, laying on her side. The scars revealing themselves.

He saw them and retracted his claws,beginning to gently stroke her. "Dear child...don't let fear hold you down...it sucks the life right out of you,till your nothing...but a shadow." His voice soon came to almost a whisper,soft and hesitant. Almost like a young childs.

" I'll be fine. " she said softly.
