She soon completely blocked off the whispers from her mind.

As they rounded the corner, a young girl ran into her. Stepping back with a confused look she froze, her eyes wide. She quickly fell to her knees, bowing. "Your majesties! My deepest apologies! I was not looking where I was going!" She pleaded.

Lucia sighed. " It's alright, I'm okay. Stand, please. " She said.

Guards had flanked their queens side, swords pointed down to the girls throat. When she made the order they withdrawled hesitantly, keeping her behind them. Caspian stepped forward, grabbing the collar of the girls shirt with a low snarl. He grabbed the pack that hung at her side, opening and dumping it's contents. The crowd gasped, surprised their king would do such a thing. His eyes scanned the contents until he found what he was searching for. He snapped his fingers, pointing at her as he held a needle, half full of a drug. "Arrest her, take her to the dungeons. I shall be there soon." He snarls. The guards takle the girl, putting her in cuffs and shoving her away from Lucia. They dragged her towards the castle, their eyes full of furry and pure rage.

" how did you know she had that? " She asked, not glancing back at them.

"Her hand went to the back of your neck when she fell. Also, my Lycan could smell the drug." He states, moving her hair to check her neck for injection wounds. He chuckles, fixing her hair before hugging her to him. "That was the clumsiest assassination attempt I've ever seen." He sighs, sounding relieved.

" good thing she wasn't very skilled at it, then. " She said.

"Let's get you inside." He mutters, leading her back to the castle.
