I break off nearby branches and make a small fire. Once I get it going, I put my water canteen over it (which I am assuming is metal and won't melt) and wait for the water to boil. After it starts to boil, I put half my flowers into the canteen and twirl it around with a stick until the water smells like the flowers. I then pour the water into the spray bottle, then refill the canteen with water from the lake and boil it for safety.

After spotting the different sources, I decide to look around for a place to settle for the rest of the day and night, maybe even a cozy looking den I could sleep in as a bear.

you run part of the way and soon reach the volcano. You see many nests. however one off to the side looks not taken care off
