Kaladin strode back into the medical ward, quietly slipped over to Douglas side, and drapped one of the blankets over him before returning to his seat, keeping a wary eye on Douglas' shivers.

If Kaladin had touched Douglas he would have known that the wolf's fever was getting worse.
Skipper looks at Douglas with concern, "I've only ever seen a fever this bad once."
