Knuckles sighed, relaxed for the moment as the sunlight warmed his fur. He didn't bring up the fact that Sonic and Amy's passive-agression was easily the funniest thing he's seen all day. As he was thinking about the scenerio, however, he noticed his pereferal vison start to blur. At first, rather then fear the worst, he was rather intreagued....
And then a migrain hit.
No, it wasn't his first, and he was used to them at this point, but they were never a good sign. Everytime he got one, that either meant he drew on the energies of the Master Emerald too much or something bad happened/was about to happen, typically related to the Chaos Emeralds in some shape or form.
Rather then cry out in shock, since he was around people, he simply got to his feet with a "I'll be right back. Gonna get something to drink..." and walked off.

Knuckles did, indeed, go to the river and drink for an extended moment, which eased the throbbing a bit. He sighed and sat down, eyes closed.
