"At least I'm getting stuck with someone who can shapeshift and go into catacombs and do magic stuff, unlike me... Eeeeeehhh, I could say the same about getting captured. You're all good." Farren's voice sounds muffled as he speaks into her fur. His hand reaches up and gently pats her head.

"You've got enough talent for me" I murmur, I push into his head, I liked this, I could stay with Farren forever. I lick his face again and rumble with happiness.

Farren smiles and lifts his face from her fur, laugh quietly when she licks his face. "Thank you, very much. Are you an outlaw from your place, too, now? I don't want to be the reason for you to be shunned from your kind." He says solemnly.

I look him in the eye "I don't mind if I get shunned, I'm their best assassin, well other then my brother, they can say what they like, I can be friends with a human if I want and I want to be friends with you. This is a really good disguise as well" I place my paw on his hand and smile.

Farren nods, his expression blank for a moment before he smiles back and gives her a hug. "I want to be friends with you too. I'm glad I ran into you... Or you caught me... Whatever we decide is the reason is, I'm glad we met because you seem like a very interesting, intelligent, and lovely being."

I smile "So are you" I press my muzzle to his forehead and rumble in happiness "Shall we find Bridget?" I ask

"Bridget! Yes, we must find her and make sure she's alright!" Farren jumps to his feet and looks around to figure out where he is and what places Bridget would know of to head to. Then he laughs at himself and pulls out his phone because sometimes he forgets he has it. He calls Bridget to see where she is and if she's alright.
After a few minutes, Bridget picks up. "What's up?" She asks, sounding calm.
Farren smiles, glad to hear her voice, as he looks up to report what he can see. "The stars are always there. Are you alright? Where are you?"
"I'm at your home. Jet's with me and we might have just accidentally woken your friends up. Jet's my girlfriend I was telling you about. She's my Demon, just like you have yours. Say hi!" Bridget passes the phone to Jet.
"Hey there guys." Jet says sweetly before growling to Farren through the phone before he can respond, "Is Cara with you, Human? She better be alright. If I hear that she's hurt, I will-"
"Jet, calm down. If she's hurt, Farren will probably have healed her already." Bridget says, taking her phone back gently from her girlfriend before her girlfriend could crush the small phone. "Haha, sorry about that..."

"Jet!" I bark into the phone, wagging my tail "I'm alright, Farrens the best! And most humans are mutts that just want to hurt and kill us" I tilt my head up to Farren "But not you or Bridget, you guys are the best" I lick his face

"You got only one fact wrong: Bridget is the best, not Farren." Jet says, the jovial comment obviously made to lift spirits.
"Hush, Jet." Bridget says. Even though they're separated by distance, Farren can imagine the flustered blush on his sister's face and he chuckles. "My brother is fantastic. He deserves some recognition for what he does."
Now it's Farren's turn to feel uncomfortably put on the spot and he rocks back, silent for a few moments. "Thank you, really, for the compliments." Farren says quietly.

I bound around Farren happily "you deserve them" I turn to the phone "Farrens the best Jet but Bridget is also very very amazing, also" I turn to Farren "shall we go over and see them?"
