Brayden blinked slowly, maybe this person didn't mean harm, he hoped so.
"Hello?" He said hesitantly as he lowered Nicote to the ground, once he was down he took off his sweater and placed it around the knife in Nicote's leg, putting pressure on the wound, careful on the sharp blade, "Who are you?"

"The bane of my existance, obviously." Nicote mumbled. Because he was pretty sure this guy was the kller of Beatrice.

Which brought back memories-

He scrunched up his face, trying to push the memories back down. No need to start bawling now. That'd be stupid.

"What are you doing, Brayden? Are you trying to get us killed?" Hailey said. She whipped her head around to face the man. "Take another step closer and that knife is going through your skull," she said. She went in between the man and her friends, noticing how he was focusing on one of them. Then she realized how he practically towered over her. She tried not to focus on his unnerving appearance and instead tried to fuel her rage about him killing Beatrice.

"Uh, Hailey, hate to **** break it to you but it's **** hard to send someone's **** knife through their *** skull when they're stil **** holding onto it." Nicote cussed all over the place, adding in a mix of sarcasm and logicality that, when it came out of his mouth ,sounded like an insult. Not that he never talked like that but still. At this rate he'd be the next to go. Probably. No doubt about that.

She gasped and winced in pain as the knife ripped through flesh. She instinctively reached towards the shoulder that was stabbed. "Gah-...Thanks for the much needed commentary, Nicote," Hailey said through a strained voice with a shot of sarcasm directed right back at him. "Brayden, get him out of here, now." She sprang back, but hissed when the knife went out. Blood stained her clothes where the knife was. She squeezed the wound with her hand. Running on rage and adrenaline is going to make her do stupid stuff now. She shuffled over to the man's side and tried tackling him.

(Wow, stupid stuff right there! My brain is dead right now, I don't even know what I'm writing. Welp, she's gonna die.)

Nicote turned his head from the bloody sight. "When stabbed by any kind of weapen, if possible, keep the weapen in the wound unless it's poisoned to lessen bleeding." he recited as if reading from a textbook. Which, because he was Nicote, he probably had. (The guy literally looks like a gangster XP)

Yet he somehow didn't want to see blood. Whichh was weird seeing as he had a nice little wound himself. "Brayden, go and stop her before she kills herself."

Nicote was mumbling something about "watching a bear wrestling with a tree". Not that anyone would acually pay him any min. O should pay him any mind. He was still turned way from the bloody scenes, as much as possible.
