You dipped in the bark. No blood at all. It seemed like this... this was all an illusion.
Your Sylesti also realises, and starts to experimentally touch the 'water'. Nothing except sight seems to be affected by this illusion.

Nothing. You feel nothing at all. The bones just flow through you. It all seems like an illusion.

You continue, for quite a long time. You slowly come to realise a small glow.
You continue, and then you come upon a cave. In the middle is a glowing lake, this time clear water with a bluish tint. It seems like there was an invisible force cutting this water off the rest of the river.
