Chapters one through two are great! Just out of curiosity, at the beginning of chapter two, Coppertail doesn't call for help and waits for someone else to do it. Is there a reason for that or is it just Coppertail being confused by the sudden onslaught?

he was waiting for one of the cats doing their vigil to call for help ;P otherwise, they would have had to protect the camp (and potentially lose their lives) by themselves. three cats against a battle patrol wouldn't go too well, depending on who the three cats are

i mean. he could have, i guess? he takes the warrior vigil seriously, no matter who it concerns. as said, cats are not allowed to speak during their vigil. but i guess he was also feeling a bit sympathetic for his Clanmates. he wanted them to be praised for sounding the alarm, so to speak, when the battle patrol began to attack. it was... i don't know where i'm going with this xD i just write what feels right. i know what you mean, and i want to explain what i meant by writing that, but i can't word it right at all, no matter how much i try to. it's one of those things lol

*claps hands together like an idiot* now, it is time to announce our winners of the design contest! for some of you who were getting impatient, i apologize. i was going to do this during study hall, but school got... hectic, to say the least. anyways! here are the winners and why, because there must always be a reason why ;P
1st Place: Poisonivyperson
that Tallstar design was just... wow. it is beautiful. and Hawkheart's colors work very nicely together. i like the way you made his pelt look mottled. it worked extremely well :) link to this post found here
2nd Place: Legademacinderheart
the Doestar design was very pretty ^^ and so is the Runningnose design. i liked the idea of incorporating the colors of his apprentice Littlecloud in as well. the brown definitely worked for me. link to this post found here
Poison, please send me a CoD for 20k, and pick two pairs of themes from my stables.
Cinder, please send me a CoD for 10k, and pick one pair of themes from my stables.
your item will be sent back. if you'd like, you can also find a pet i can breed with (provided the fee is 1k or below, because i broke xD)
everyone else who participated, please decide whether you'd like a custom theme offspring, or a randomly bred lupora. if you choose the random lupora <-- (means i pick two lups and throw offspring at you). as for customs, if the mother is recovering, i will get yours to you ASAP.

i do have a few pairs (mostly puffs) floating around ;P you just need to look, if you want one in particular. otherwise i'll just pick a random one
