(Bracken is Male)

I feel my face tingle a bit, and I open my mouth to speak, but no sound comes out. I shrug, and the action makes my now glowing feathers sway around, almost drunkenly.

'Try harder.' It would work, just as it had before. Once they had even commanded a wolf to speak, in order to find its pack. If something with non human vocal cords could talk there was no reason this shouldn't. Unless the boy was unwilling to try. By this he was basically giving his voice to the other person, if only for a bit.

I close my eyes, trying to remember what it was like to speak, even to make a noise. It's hard, but I eventually can recall it, the thrumming in my vocal cords. I feel something pop in my throat, and smile. I carefully lift the stranger's hand from my face, and say,
"I'm Bracken."

To avoid the connection being lost Rirosson forced his hand back. 'This isn't a permanent, merely a spell for a time...'

Skye watched the girl pull up her hood. She followed the girl from distance.

Blue paused. Why am I here again? Err.... food, food. Right. She mumbled. She began looking for someplace to buy food again.

Skye watched her with burning curiosity.

Blue gulped, she felt like she was being followed. She began running. She bumped into a few people, but didnt bother to apologize.

"I see. Well, I guess we should talk while we still can. Why did you help me?" I ask, continuing to finger one of my feathers, until it stops glowing.
