he dropped it, jumped back, ears pinned back and head down

"Now, now. Properly go get some chamomile!" Thornheart instructed.

Sparowpaw hesitated only for a moment and look in the smell before trotting off, his long limbs looking broken again as he'd forgotten the medicine cat's words to find another clump. After a bit, he sniffed some out and bounded over to it, nipping the ends of the stalks, being even more careful not to let any juice run by biting too hard.

"Hmpf. Better, I suppose." Thornheart picked up her clump of chamomile and sniffed around, heading along the border.

He picked up his own small stalks as it was a small patch and trotted after her

Thornheart came upon a patch of alfalfa plants. "These are alfalfa," She said to Sparrowpaw. "We might need some." She dropped the chamomile near the patch and started collecting alfalfa.

He nodded and picked up her chamomile, not able to speak encase he dropped them. His jaw ached from having it open but not clamped down to carry them, but didn't want to disturb Thornheart.

Thornheart put down the alfalfa she had in her mouth and looked back at Sparrowpaw. "Don't stand there randomly with your mouth open! You'll catch flies, even with the chamomile. Put it down and com'ere, get some alfalfa."

He dropped the chamomile, bounding over quickly, watching how Thornheart did it before trying himself

Thornheart noticed Sparrowpaw watching and huffed before going back to picking alfalfa. She dug around the stem carefully, clearing away the grass, before digging a little deeper, revealing the roots. She bit down where the roots were just showing very gently and pulled, bringing the entire plant out of the earth.
