He paled.

It then starts trying to open he window, trying to get its beak under it.

He hesitated, then walked over and hed it closed.

It just forces its beak back under, and starts to open the window.

He kept holding it down, scared.

It manages to wriggle its whole head under.

He kept it down, but not too hard. He wasnt going to kill it unless it attacked.

Despite his attempt, it manages to wriggle itself out from under the window and into the house.

He backed up, slamming the window closed.

It flutters onto the table. The cat hisses and backs away from the bird, its fur standing on end.
