"If Douglas is asking for time he must be hurt badly." Skipper nodded. "I can hold it off for a few minutes but the crew asks questions you are explaining."
Douglas sewed Selkie's wound closed carefully. Selkie stirred a little. Douglas narrowly avoided sticking Selkie with the needle. "No no, he needs to stay asleep or else he will make it worse."

(Wasn't it supposed to last an hour minimum?)

Kaladin nodded. "Of course." He said, sprinting back to where Douglas was working.

(the stitches or the drink?) (the bell is a way to tell the crew half the shift is over)(sorry that took so long)
Douglas barley achknowelged Kaladin. "New needle please and bandages." Douglas had pricked himself on the needle and had stepped back from Selkie. "Taika I think Selkie's having a nightmare try to hold him down while monitoring his pulse."

(The drink)

Kaladin nodded and handed him the bandages and needle. "Poor thing..."

(yeah it lasts over an hour Selkie is having a nightmare.)
"I can guess what he is dreaming about." Douglas wrapped his finger and started sewing again.

Taika held Selkie's hand, "Stay still or you'll make it worse." she said soothingly.

"And what's that?" Kaladin inquired.

"The night Selkie met Black Beard." Douglas answered.
Selkie wimpered.
"And my guess this is the part where he met whoever slashed his side or when he lost his crew." Douglas stitched the wound closed. "Almost finished."

"Like what?" his mind was pretty blank at the moment.Strrling run and slid under Collin to behind him and swung

Kaladin looked at the otter sympathetically.
