Rookie huffed. "Main pipe it is."

Knuckles shrugged, though his expression had taken on a thoughtful appearance. "Maybe it knew you needed it."

Sonic smiled and flopped into a nearby armchair.

"How though," Ajal asked.


After about an hour Kini was out cold.


Luna looked around again getting a bad feeling.

Clik nodded

The young wolf started to make his way down to the pipe.

Knuckles frowned and shook his head. "They tend to show up whenever and whereever they're needed. Fun little trait they have."

Sonic sighed and kicked his feet up onto the ottoman in front of him, arms folded behind his head.

Kini woke up a few minutes later muttering his manatra under his breath.

Luna followed them to the best of her abilities.

Ajal nodded understanding, "Anything else you can tell me about the emerald?"

"Carful" clik suggested

Knuckles sighed and leaned his back against a tree. "...Nothing and everything, Ajal. It's all too complicated." He said, suddenly sounding weary.

Rookie slipped into the pipe and glanced down. The slick, black oil rose about waist deep, and though he could wade through it, he had a feeling he would walk away under the weather if he did.

The hedgehog glanced over at him. "You good man?"

Kini nodded slightly.

Luna waded in after her, "You to Clik."


Ajal sighed and looked up at the sky.

Rookie made a short noise that was sonmething between a groan and a sigh.
