She sighs, breaking the rest of the ice around him. "Now, be quiet, I already have a headache from your first words."

Ash helped steady Lin.

Puck staggered forward, his face bloody, his clothing in tatters. He swayed on his feet, eyes glazed over, and started to fall.

She leans on him.

She quickly catches him, grumbling something about him being overweight. She quickly puts him in a hammock, made out of palm tree leaves.

And with that, Puck turned into a frayed leaf. Ash shook his head. "Did you hear everything you wanted, Goodfellow?" he called to the empty air.
"I did," came Puck's disembodied voice, floating out of the trees, "but I'm not sure I believe my ears." He dropped from the branches of a pine, landing with a thump in the snow. When he straightened, his green eyes blazed with anger. Not directed at Ash, but at Claire.
"That's what you promised him?" he shouted, throwing up his hands. "That was your bargain? You would offer yourself to the Unseelie Court?" He turned and punched the tree, sending twins and icicles to the ground. "Of all the stupid ideas! What is wrong with you?" This was the first time he was angry. Not just Puck, but Robbie, too. He never got mad, viewing everything as a colossal joke. Now he looked ready to tear Claire's head off.

Lin stares at him.

She looks down, "I do not regret my decision." She said firmly, clearly, she spoke the truth.

"I would've gotten you there! Me! You don't need his help! Don't you trust me to keep you guys safe?" Puck sounded hurt, glaring at Claire like she'd just stabbed him in the back. He turned to Lin. "You didn't know about this, did you?"
Ash still had his arm keeping her steady, and for once, Puck didn't notice

She looks up, her eyes tracing the frozen branches.

She clings to him.
