The calls didn't return.

Void smiled,they were just as perceptive as she thought.She strolled forward causally....oddly causal

Zero didn't look back. Why would he? He recognized the scent anyway.

"....Void." He muttered, both in realization and sarcastic greeting, though his voice only betrayed the latter.

He suddenly found the idea of a 'tactical retreat' somewhat appealing. Void was his white whale (Right under Shadow, that is. "Some day," he had promised himself.), yes, but he had also learned to pick his battles. This situation, right now, was impossible.

So, he took Nox's advice and teleported.

Nox was with him when he teleported, "Thank you."


Ajal frowned wanting to hear more.

Indigo yawned quietly. He was still tired.

Leaf and Aether were still giggling to each other.

The silvery whip was still holding Cobalt high.

Ganz slowly walked up besides her,"Smart move traitor" he said with a hint of jealousy in her voice."Come,I think it's time we paid the little foxe's house a visit"

Clik looked around the room,It was empty save for the alcove....but the walls.Pars were charred some had what looked like late scratches going down them,others had long black lines on them...most likely from a whip

(Nobody's at Tails' house at the moment. Well, except Tails' security bot.)

Sonic walked up and traced a finger along one of the lines. His ears lay flat once it became clear how powerful those whiplashes had to be in order to scratch into the steel walls. Rookie looked around, wide eyed, and whimpered softly.

Knuckles stirred slightly in his sleep, mummbling something about the Chaos Emeralds. Sounded like complete nonsense, though.
