Atlas had a child like glow in his eyes as he devoured the ramen, but despite his greedy appetite, he ate propperly, displaying good manners and such.

"How is it?"

she smiled warmly, mainly at her self. " Its nice. I like it. "

"Good. I think that-"
He was cut off by an armoured man running up to him, panting tiredly.
"Master Altas. Lord Trineth has sent a messenger. He claims it is urgent."

Atlas looked at Xolia apologetically.
"It seems work is dragging me away. You can come if you like. If not, I will have someone show you back towards your room."

"...I will go with you. " She said.

"Right then. Just leave your bowl here. The chef will pick it up for us."
He looked back towards the man and said, "alright, lead the way."
They were brought to the front gate where three equestrians sat mounted upon their steeds. The man in the center was decorated while the two on either side of him were dressed in armour and carrying flags.
"Alright Xolia, I have a feeling I know what this message is. It might not be a very friendly one, so please for both our sakes, stay behind me."

" Fine. " She moved to stand behind him.

He gave her a thankful nod before turning back to the messangers.
"What tidings do you bring to us?" He asked the decorated man.

"Are you Lord and master Atlas of the southern land's fortress?" Asked the messager.
Atlas nodded, and so the messanger went on.
"All mighty Lord Trineth has greivences and harbors bitterness towards you concerning the vineyards to the east of the fortress. He claims them as his but is continuasly denied. Lord Trineth will shall declare war and take his vineyards on the 'morrow. Prepare yourselves, or surrender now."

Atlas relaxed, understanding the situation.
"They are my peoples vineyards, and I will not surrender them. They suport our way of life just as the cattle support yours. Prepare to battle, for the inhabitants of this fortress have yet to surrender, and yet to fall."
With that, Atlas turned and walked calmly away, leading Xolia by her arm.

"Sorry about that kitten. Trineth has yet to get his bulbous head out of his as*. He is a bit of a nuisance to us. Hopefully he will learn a lesson or two after tomorrow. Oh, and speaking of the vineyards, would you like to visit them? In the norning I need to check them and observe the progress of our harvest. It is out of the fortress and a small ride away. I'm sure bangle would enjoy it as well."

She held back laugh and simply nodded. " I would be alright with that. I have yet to see a vineyard, actually. "

"Ours produce the most luscious and most treasured grapes in the realm, I garuntee it. We'll have to make a day of it. Perhaps the lafies would like to show you it. They have spent years tending it, so I suppose they know more about it than I."

He walked her towards the hut they had been in before, but stroled a bit further into a different home.

"This one is yours. I dare not intrude, but at the same time, remeber the windows and door are guarded. You are free to come and go as you please so long as your are accompanied and so long as yoy dont leave without me. With that said, goodnight."
